To qualify as Ordinary Member of 14 HKANM Academy Colleges of related specialty, registered nurse needs to complete 500 theoretical hours in advanced practicing certification program, of which Generic Core contributes 1/3 of the training hours.
The Pre-membership Foundation Education Program is a structured training program to fulfil part of the theoretical education for attainment as Ordinary Member of Academy Colleges of HKANM.
Pre-Membership Foundation Education Program – Module II
Evidence-Based Nursing Practice Workshop (Full course with assessment)
Date: 3 March 2026 – 27 June 2026
Time: 3 March 2026 - 26 May 2026: 06:30 PM-09:30 PM;
27 June 2026: 09:30 AM-12:30 PM
Mode of Training: 11 three-hour lectures (excluding 24 March & 25 March workshop) [Physical/Online]
Venue: The Hong Kong Academy of Nursing & Midwifery / The Chinese University of Hong Kong
Includes: Lectures, group discussions, self-directed learning, project sharing
Tuition Fee: HK$2,000
Max Participants: 50 (first-come, first-served)
Certificate & CNE Points: a Certificate of Competency with CNE points would be awarded upon completion of assignment and ≥80 attendance. For online sessions, attendance is tracked via login/logout times. Participants must attend over 70% of each 3-hour session.
