The 3rd International Advanced Nursing Practice Conference on 14th-16th November 2025

President’s Welcome Message

It is the great pleasure of the Hong Kong Academy of Nursing & Midwifery to welcome you to the 3rd International Advanced Nursing Practice Conference in Hong Kong to be held from 14-16 November 2025.

The theme of the Conference is “Advanced Nursing Practice – Global Strategies for Better Health”. We aim to share experiences and best practices in enhancing healthcare standards and showcasing leadership in cutting-edge healthcare practice.

This is our first collaborative work with the European Specialist Nurses Organization which is the co-organizer of the Conference. Supporting organizations include Connell School of Nursing of Boston College, Case Western Reserve University, Rutgers University and MD Anderson Cancer Centre from U.S.A., as well as our local partners from the 8 Schools of Nursing, Hong Kong Hospital Authority, Private Hospital Association and many professional associations of nursing in Hong Kong. In addition to the 2-day Conference, we have arranged 2 pre-conference workshops and visits to 6 hospitals / centers. We envisage that these will bring about global networking and cross-fertilization in the development and application of innovation, technologies and artificial intelligence to healthcare.

To ensure a fruitful conference, we have invited renowned scholars, clinical experts, healthcare managers and policy makers worldwide including USA, Europe, Australia and Asia to provide keynote speeches, talks and workshops. These renowned speakers will bring in their international insights and perspectives with the latest knowledge of promoting and enhancing advanced nursing practice as well as impactful global policy in healthcare.

Looking forward to seeing you in November 2025.

Prof. Sylvia FUNG, BBS
